North Star Nursing is a licensed Class A Home Care Agency, and we are enrolled in the Medical Assistance Program as a Personal Care Provider Organization (PCPO). We currently service the counties of Hubbard, Becker, Mahnomen, Ottertail, Wadena and Clay. We are able to accept recipients covered under Medicaid (medical assistance), Waivered Services, Alternative Services, Personal Insurance, and Private Pay.
Under the PCA Choice Program, North Star Nursing is simply an intermediary. Qualified recipients are able to manage their own home care, as well as choose their own caregivers. North Star Nursing handles the financial details including payroll and payroll taxes, workers compensation, unemployment insurance and a surety bond. Consult with your case worker to see if you qualify!
